For your consideration is this beautiful Ikebana Vase made by artisans Bill and Patti Colby of Colby Clayworks (New Smyrna Beach, Florida). There social media post dates to 2023, and seller is unsure if they are still producing pieces. At that time, it was noted that the two have been producing pottery for 36 years. This Ikebana Vase is blue and green in color and looks to have a salt glaze. Inside is a metal flower frog to firmly hold flowers in place. Water can be added in the small well measuring approximately 1.4 inches in diameter x 0.6 inches high. The entire piece measures 4.5 inches in diameter x 0.6 inches tall, and weighs 9.3 ounces. There is an indented swirl or ring design on the inner portion and external portion. The bottom is signed "Colby" and is unglazed.
