Tekton dead blow hammers have steel shot inside the head of each hammer to reduce the post-strike rebound that is common with other hammers and mallets, allowing for better-controlled hits to the workpiece. The hot-cast polyurethane jackets are highly resistant to chipping, cracking, and tearing. The contoured handles and their textured surfaces provide a comfortable, nonslip grip for hammering.
