Founded by Baltimore natives Jake and Zeke Carey, The Flamingos formed in Chicago in the early 1950's. Featured here are two of their highly sought after tracks recorded for the Parrot label in 1954. On "Ko Ko Mo" and the ballad, "I'm Yours," the group is accompanied by Red Holloway (tenor sax), with Horace Palm (piano and organ), Quinn Wilson (bass), and Paul Gusman (drums). Newly re-mastered.
