Scribner's seal is present but the letter A has been removed from the copyright page.1937 date is on both the title page and the copyright page. the covers are in black clothe with a gold Hemingway signature on the front cover. Green blocks with gold titles on the spine. The hinges are strong, the book is clean inside, and the binding is tight. Light bumping on the cover edges. Has a sticker in the back from a bookstore in Duluth MN, where the book was originally purchased. The book is odor free. See photos.
