Product Description The earliest Patent-Applied-For (or “PAF”) humbuckers used a range of magnet types, but PAFs made with Alnico II have always held a special place in many guitarists’ tone arsenal. If you have ever heard someone describe a PAF as ‘flute-like’ - then that’s the Alnico II working its magic. Tonerider Alnico II Classics are scatter wound around vintage correct pole pieces and are the most affordable way to upgrade any guitar to classic tone nirvana. Both neck and bridge pickups come with zebra bobbins (screw coil cream) and nickel-silver baseplates and baseplates, scatter wound coils, wax-potting and four-conductor wiring.
