Stunning vintage, Art Nouveau sterling, silver and genuine, amethyst ring. Purchased at estate sale, this is truly gorgeous! It has a large faceted, genuine amethyst stone in a prong setting. You don’t often see high quality amethyst stones this size in sterling anymore, and this stone is beautiful! The setting is my favorite part. If you look at the base, it has “double prongs” in the shape of a “V” that go above the stone and are rounded on top. Hard to describe in words, but the photos will clarify. The stone sits above the base of the setting, so light can shine underneath. Its very well made and unique. I was told that it was at least 60 years old. The stone is a gorgeous color and the piece is in excellent condition. Stamped, “P.M. sterling”. Size 7.25.
