The bottom section of the pole mounts normally in any standard one" bracket or flagpole holder. The top section of the pole is engineered to spin freely on a set of ball bearings. The two sections of pole screw together for a secure hold. Because of this innovative design, your flag can fly freely in the direction of the wind. With traditional stationary flagpoles, wind can cause your flag to get tangled around the pole. It can be difficult to reach these tangled flags in order to fix them. But with the Valley Forge spinning flagpole, you’ll never have to worry about unwrapping your flag on windy days. To attach your flag to the spinning top section of the pole, we've included two clear rings. The rings wrap around the flagpole & clip into your flag’s grommets. Alternatively, if you have a sleeve style flag, the metal clip at the top of the flagpole can hold your flag in place. This six-foot flagpole is designed to be used with a standard three foot by five foot flag. If you need a flagpole for a smaller sized flag, we also make a five-foot spinning flagpole.
