This rare vintage Buffalo China teacup and saucer set dates back to the 1960s and comes from the historic Buena Vista Hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi. The bottom of the cup bears a label reading "Buena Vista Hotel Hurricane 'Camille' Aug 18, 1969" -- a remarkable piece of history that survived one of the most powerful hurricanes to hit the Gulf Coast. Made in the USA by Buffalo China, this ceramic set features a yellow looped pattern typical of the mid-century era. Both pieces show light wear consistent with age. A beautiful addition for collectors of hotelware, hurricane memorabilia, or vintage American pottery.
