Vintage Real Fur Raccoon coat. Raccoon is one of the warmest furs and so so cozy. Beautiful warm brown color, it closes slightly asymmetrically with 4 eye and hook enclosures. It has 2 exterior pockets and one internal pocket and is lined with brown satin, tag is Furs by Marmor and Tivers of Chicago. The original owners name embroidered inside.
Measurements are approximate:
Shoulder to wrist: 23 inches
Armpit to Armpit: 20 inches (while clasped)
Armpit to Armpit: 22.5 inches
Shoulder or Possibly underarm to Hem: 20 inches
(I forgot where I was measuring. I can remeasure upon request.)
Overall the fur is in good vintage condition. The pelt itself is maybe a little dry and could be conditioned, but the fur is still soft and glossy and there is no balding, matting, or odors.
However this coat is DAMAGED. The damage is from wear and tear (my bad!!!). With repairs it should be a wonderful coat for years to come. There is a 6.5 inch tear in the seam underneath the left armpit. This c
