This is a very rare and very vintage (early 1900's), George Steere &co (Providence Rhode Island jewelry maker), beetle brooch. It is in very good condition but may need cleaned. I do not know the proper way to clean this so I will leave that to you. From the research I have done, GNS items are one of a kind and can be relatively pricey. I have priced this toward the low end of what somewhat similar pieces are selling for. I'm going to say that the pin itself is brass(?), with a glass (?) body, under its wings that is (I'd say) the color of champagne or citrine. This beetle also has tiny little green gem eyes. No testing of materials has been done and the gemstones are in relatively decent condition considering the estimated age of this brooch. As is, no returns.
