Vintage (likely early 1960's) powder compact with a beautiful depiction of two Eastern bluebirds perched on the branches of a pink wild rose. The image is signed "Joffre". The back of the silver-toned compact is stamped "Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND". The exterior is in very good condition: no scratches or spots. Inside, the powder is intact; the powder screen and puff are missing; the mirror has a circle of dark spots (de-silvering) - see photos. The clasp still snaps securely.
