1950s inscribed sterling silver baby rattle and faux pearl teething ring. Beautiful piece with a few dents but it doesn't take away from the beauty of this item. It's nice for a baby doll or a collection piece.attached to a white celluloid teething ring by a detailed strap and buckle design. The front of the bell has a detailed round clock with Roman numerals Below the clock is Birth Record,Month - Year - Pounds -Ounces. The top of the back is stamped Sterling with the hallmark for the Webster Company of Attleboro Massachusetts, organized in 1894, which became a subsidiary of Reed & Barton in 1950. The ring measures 3" in length, with the teething ring measuring 1 3/4" across.
