A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The Gut side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra force). If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn can screw into the cut thread by hand (without extra force) up to two turns. If it screws in further, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). A reference temperature of 20° Celsius applies to the workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. The calibration, independent of VÖLKEL's production, is done in a lab following the set guidelines and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
