Vintage Austrian Leather Sewing Kit (c. 1940s–1950s)
This beautiful mid-century sewing kit was made in Austria from genuine Yorkshire leather and features a rich red felt interior with gold-tone elastic straps. Inside are original sewing accessories including a Feinste Sharps needle packet (Germany), thread cards, thimble, measuring tape, and safety pins.
A fine example of post-war European craftsmanship, these compact travel sewing kits were popular among travelers and servicemen for quick clothing repairs on the go.
Measuring tape is embedded in the sewing case. Unable to remove without damaging it.
